Lead Capture Page Continued . . .

However you want to refer to it but you MUST have a website you can send your interested prospects to and it MUST have autoresponders.  Sales 101- most people will not buy; purchase; join until the 6th or 7th time of point of contact.  By having them on emails that are sent automatically (autoresponders), they are able to see the value of what you're offering.  I have had people join me after receiving the 6th or 7th autoresponder.  There's more to this that I explain in my free training, but know this is critical to your success.  Above all else, you want to be building a list.  There are so many different ways of getting leads, but you need to have them opt-in to your website.

When you join a business, they may have a replicated website and that's great and if they don't then you need to create your own.

If you're interested in internet marketing, you will want to create a website different than a replicated site.  You want to have keywords in your website and have content that is different that other websites which will help you get higher up in the search engines.  You also want to brand yourself.  I can explain more but for now, suffice it to say, that 1) you need to have someplace to send your prospects to, and 2) if you want to get more advanced in marketing, you want a website you can modify.  Some people have also chosen just to create blogs and/or Squidoo lens, and you can send them to your replicated site.

I create my own websites but here are my recommendations for creating websites, depending on your skill level.  In some cases, you need a hosting site and in others you can host it with the service.  As you can become more advanced or if you already have the technical skills, I recommend your own hosting site because then you have complete control.

Advanced:  Lead Page Generator

You need a hosting site but you're able to have access to advanced techniques from taking variables and populating secondary pages to setting up special optins and more.

Advanced:  Templates

If you have some technical skils, you can download a template and with nvu, you can edit it.  With this you will need a hosting site.  For templates, you can use open source (www.oswd.org) where you can download templates for free or you can purchase them.  I recommend 4Templates if you want to purchase a template.  They had a nice selection reasonably priced.  Another great one to use is www.allwebco.com.

All Levels:  Wealthy Affiliate

With Wealthy Affiliate, you also receive free access to a website builder and in addition great support, as well as advice from others in the forum and access to shared resources.   You can host it  with them or download the template after you have created it and have it on your own hosting site.

Beginner:  Weebly

This is a great site for beginners and Google loves it and favors it in the search engines.  It will walk you through the steps of creating a website and has some nice templates.
